Apex Before Impact Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Toastworks ("we", "us") handles information in the mobile game Apex Before Impact (package toastworks.apexbeforeimpact), including the version distributed on Google Play. By playing the game you agree to the practices described here.

Summary

• The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no online profile. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location.
• Your progress is saved only on your device.
• The game shows ads through Google AdMob. Google collects some device information to deliver those ads, as described below.

Information we collect ourselves

None. We do not run our own servers for this game and we do not receive any personal information from it. Your save data (unlocked dinosaurs, experience, settings, level progress, and high scores) is stored locally on your device and is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its app data deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game displays full-screen ads at certain points during play, provided by Google AdMob. To deliver, measure, and limit the frequency of ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share with Google:

• device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID;
• your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location (for example, country or city);
• device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and network state;
• ad interaction and diagnostic data, such as which ads were shown or tapped, app launches, and crash or performance information related to the SDK.

This information goes directly from your device to Google. We only see aggregated reports, such as the number of ads shown and total earnings. Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy; see also How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Consent and your choices

• Consent prompt. Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and certain US states), the game shows a Google consent message before ads load, where you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising.
• Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
• Google ad settings. You can manage how Google personalizes ads at adssettings.google.com.
• Deleting local data. Clear the app's storage in your device settings or uninstall the game.

Permissions

The game itself needs no special permissions. The permissions in the app are there for advertising and are added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK: Internet and Network state (to load ads), Advertising ID (to read the device's advertising ID, subject to your device ad settings), and standard background-task permissions the SDK uses to finish loading ads (Wake lock, Foreground service, and Basic phone state, which exposes only the network type). None of these prompt you, and the game does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, files, or location services.

Children

Apex Before Impact is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will work with our advertising partner to address it.

Data retention and security

Because we do not collect or store personal information, we have nothing to retain. Local save data stays on your device until you delete it. Data collected by Google through AdMob is transmitted over encrypted connections and retained according to Google's policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Since we hold no personal information about you, requests about advertising data should be made to Google using the links above. You can still contact us with any question and we will help where we can.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the game adds new features. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
